I know people are anxiously awaiting Dr. Kirby's return from medical leave. She has not yet been medically cleared to return to work, and her doctors are doing everything they can to get through some "unexpected," medical "bumps in the process," which delayed her surgery. She is waiting and wishes she could work, and knows it is best to do what her doctors tell her and she wants everyone who is worrying, to feel hope, as she feels hope that this very time limited "block" in the road for everything, will be resolved so she can have the procedure she needs as an urgent medical matter was found in January. We are all d**g the best we can, and are trying to figure out the other staffing issue that had to redistribute the technicians. We will get out of this one, Dr. Kirby is not worried, she is ready to return to work. She sends all the warm light and energy or whatever you believe in, your way.

Having worked at the VA in a different state, and moving to private practice in 2016 for “reasons,” this is not surprising in anyway. As a veteran and a military training doctor of behavioral medicine, this is not a doubt in my mind, as I refused to follow unethical orders and since then had to file EEO for hostile work environment, I opened a private practice, this was right before the 2016 election, and things began to shift. We take tricare, Medicare, Mainecare, and if the VA allows you to be seen in the community? We take that too, I have walked on both sides. Get the evaluation you need.

When "copilot" or other such as ChatGPT, to help you if you are highly verbal, have neurodivergence, and some education others do not have...tells you that you have "too many characters," as you ask it to help you make it more "concise" ...maybe...the person (cough) writing, does need to consider finding a way to accommodate for the "speaking your inner monologue" or external "'verbal processing," with the HIGH likelihood, people whose brains are NEURODIVERGENT, can and will, verbally just go...like 'being driven by a motor," in so many ways...even when typing (still verbal, also activates your motor strip, )...

It’s been nearly 10 years since I opened this practice, in SC, where I still offer Telehealth. I remember when we got too big for our “office printer…” and renting even the smallest office printer was still out of our budget and I found this line of professional printers. It felt “fun,” this is my “business purchase” and we continued to grow, which is why that printer eventually, met its life’s end at about 7 years. These printers have a 7-10 year life span, but are not so expensive that you can’t put away a little as you earn your business money, which is at times confusing? Because I (Dr. Kirby) am also the business? Whatever I made sure to categorize for my accountant this is a business purchase. This time one level up in price, performance, just one. That’s what matters. How do we grow “from here,” this moment. How do you grow?
