Oregon Woodland Cooperative

Oregon Woodland Cooperative Family forest owners cooperating to market sustainably-grown products from their woods We bring you "Natural and Handmade Goods from the Oregon Woods."

The Oregon Woodland Cooperative is a group of over 70 private, family forestland owners in Oregon. Since 1980, OWC members have helped other members to improve their ability to sustainably manage their woodland and to market their woodland products over the long term. We use what we grow in our own forests to create many different products to heat your home, decorate your surroundings, and improve personal health and well-being.

Moving a mountain of firewood, one bundle at a time.

Members of the Co-op are busy bundling firewood that they sustainably harvest from their own forests. Local wood is a better way to warm your home on these chilly NW nights. We also offer premium hardwood firewood for better burning, and kindling to get your fire started.

Find our locally-grown firewood at better grocery stores in the Portland metro area, including New Seasons Market, Whole Foods, Food Front, and Green Zebra.

Come With Us to Visit the Forests of Sweden and Norway

OWC invites you to join a tour to Scandinavia especially for family forestland owners, and others interested in learning about forests overseas. Guided by experienced foresters, this educational tour will focus on private forestry in Sweden and Norway and the role of woodland owner cooperatives. The tour departs from Portland on May 27, 2016 and returns on June 14.

We will meet woodland owners and tour their tree farms, see harvesting equipment in action, and visit forestry companies, sawmills, equipment manufacturers, and forestry museums. In addition, tour participants will see and experience outstanding natural beauty in the farms, forests, mountains and fjords of Sweden and Norway, and enjoy the cultural highlights of the towns and cities along the way.

Full details, including itinerary, pricing, and registration, are now posted on the OWC website: www.oregonwoodlandcooperative.com/scandinavia-forestry-tour

The deadline for reservations is Oct. 1, 2015. Please note that space is limited and reservations will be accepted on a first come basis. For more information, please contact OWC at [email protected] or call (888) 800-1192 toll free.
