I earned my degree in Massage Therapy from the American Institute of Massage Therapy in Pompano Beach, FL. With nearly 25 years of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a comprehensive and integrative approach to bodywork—drawing from Swedish,

Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Sports Massage, and the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach®. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to individualized care. Every session is carefully tailored to meet each client’s unique needs—whether that means relieving chronic pain, supporting recovery from injury, or restoring a sense of balance and calm. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where clients can unwind, reconnect with their bodies, and experience lasting renewal.

Throughout the week, many people accumulate physical and physiological stress through long hours, repetitive demands, and sustained positions without fully recognizing the impact on their body.

Over time, this can show up as tension, stiffness, or discomfort—commonly in the neck, back, or shoulders. While it may feel manageable to continue pushing through, these presentations are often indicators of altered movement patterns and underlying tissue restriction.

Within a rehabilitation-focused setting like Centerline, the emphasis is on identifying and addressing these restrictions early—before they develop into more persistent pain or limitations in movement.

Myofascial Release is a hands-on approach that works to assess and treat these areas, helping restore mobility, reduce strain, and support more efficient, functional movement.

If you’ve been noticing ongoing discomfort or changes in how your body is moving, you’re welcome to reach out to learn more or schedule an evaluation.

You may have heard people use the words “masseuse” or “masseur” before, but did you know those terms are no longer correct—or professional?

Here’s why:
• Those words haven’t been used in American English professionally for decades.
• Over time, they became linked to outdated and negative stereotypes, especially through the s*x industry.
• Because of that association, the profession moved away from them entirely.

Today, things look very different:
👉 Massage is a licensed healthcare profession
👉 Practitioners earn the professional title Massage Therapist
👉 In most U.S. states, only licensed therapists are legally allowed to practice

So if you’re talking about someone providing professional massage, the right (and respectful) term is:
Massage Therapist.
