The Lord knit your soul into existence! You are wonderful, beautiful, complex, beloved, and gifted wonderful attributes, skills, dreams, goals, and gifts! Before time began, God knew you, loved you, and ordained the days of your life, and the wonderful things that He wants you to do.

How often do we miss this same truth about ourselves in the midst of life’s competing demands. Our minds are constantly focused on our many shortcomings and flaws:

Why can’t I lose 10 pounds?
Why am I so tired/disorganized/grumpy?
Why can’t I be a better wife and mom?
Why am I never good enough?
Why can’t I do better?

We try so hard for so long to prove that we are good enough, to prove we are worth loving. We try to be needless and want-less, believing our needs and wants weren’t as important as others. But all the trying and working and proving never changed our heart.

Brave love starts with me, and it starts with you. Brave love means being honest about what we need and want. It’s allowing ourselves to be whole people with thoughts and feelings and moods. Brave love is messy and complicated, but it also brings peace and creates space for intimacy in our relationships.

We have all been fearfully and wonderfully made, known and loved by God to love bravely.

With God, we have hope. He is our hope.
When we trust the God of hope, we are filled with joy and peace. We have to choose to trust Him. We have to be willing to trust the Lord even when we don’t have answers to the “whys,” and things aren’t going our way or how we envisioned them. It’s a daily, hour-by-hour, minute-by-minute, act of choosing to trust the Lord. It may seem overwhelming but, when the outcome is joy and peace, it’s worth it!
When we choose to trust the Lord and are filled with joy and peace, we will overflow with hope. What’s better than having a hope-filled life? Having an overflowing life of hope.
We choose, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to trust the Lord, and then, we receive joy and peace and our hope overflows. Sounds like a pretty good plan to me. How about you?
Do you have trouble trusting the Lord? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you. We can say, “Lord, I’m having trouble trusting. Help me to trust You.”

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY!
According to the American Pregnancy Association, about half of all women experience morning sickness, . It can be one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. And it doesn't always happen in the morning! You can experience morning sickness at any time throughout the day.
Here are a few tips to deal with the nausea and vomiting that come with morning sickness:
⚫ Don’t skip meals; instead, eat smaller meals throughout the day and avoid having larger meals.
⚫ Drink fluids 30 minutes or more before and after meals, but not with meals.
⚫ Eat a few soda crackers, like Saltines, as soon as you get up in the morning, and during the day eat a few salty potato chips to settle your stomach so that you can have a meal.
⚫ If food odor bothers you, have someone else cook for you or cook with windows open or with a fan running.
⚫ Avoid places that are warm to prevent feelings of nausea.
⚫ Exercise
⚫ Get plenty of rest and nap during the day, if possible, but don’t lie down after eating.
⚫ Avoid spicy foods.
⚫ Eat watermelon, drink lemonade, or smell a slice of lemon or wedge of ginger to relieve nausea.
⚫ Get help by contacting your doctor if you experience excessive nausea; if vomiting prevents you from keeping any food down or if pain or fever accompany it; if nausea and vomiting persists into your second trimester.

This verse is a powerful reminder that our strength comes from God, not ourselves. It doesn't say, "I can do SOME things," but that I can do ALL things through Christ. It serves as a daily reminder to seek God's strength in times of need and trust in His power to see us through any situation.
We do not have to take on life's struggles alone.
