We’ve been living our best lives over here with friends, family, food & lots of love ❤️

💅🏼 The cosmetology students from Barberton High School’s Four Cities Compact pampered the residents last Tuesday and gave them beautiful manicures

🍦We took an Ice cream trip last Thursday to Durbin Magic Freeze

👩‍⚕️ We attended a special presentation by the Capstone Nursing students from the Four Cities Compact at BHS about selected residents from Pleasant Pointe & Pleasant View for their senior projects…..and ended the day with another stop at Durbin’s (don’t worry, no blood sugars were harmed in getting ice cream 2 days in a row lol)

🎁 Yesterday (Thursday) we celebrated the Capstone Nursing students with lunch and a special gift for each one of them

🛍️ We also took a thrift store shopping trip on Thursday and sang Sweet Caroline on the ride there because who doesn’t like Neil Diamond and shopping

🏇And today (Friday/May Day/Kentucky Derby Eve) we had such a fun day decorating derby hats, playing games, watching Secretariat, and ruining our dinner with snacks

Next up…Cinco de Mayo! 🇲🇽🪇

🎶 Music is one of our residents’ favorite activities…it helps them relive their younger years with so many songs filled with memories!

Tony Midea (The Avanti Band) has been entertaining us for a few years now and quickly became a resident favorite!

🌷🐰 We came. We saw. We had the MOST fun! 🐣💛

We had such an “egg-celent” time celebrating Easter with our amazing residents! From egg decorating to sweet treats and lots of laughter, the afternoon was full of smiles and special moments. 🌸

A highlight of the day was a visit from the Easter Bunny and plenty of fun photo opportunities! 📸🐇
