Last week, we celebrated from all across the country. This week, we’re coming home. ❤️

Spirit Week gave everyone across Village Caregiving a way to be part of the excitement leading up to Summit, wherever they call home. More than 80 photos came in from our teams across the country, and we loved seeing every one of them.

Today, our office teams are making their way to Barboursville, WV for Village Summit 2026.

There’s something special about coming together here in the mountains where Village Caregiving began. What started in West Virginia has grown far beyond these hills, into communities and homes across the country.

And this week, a little piece of all of those places comes back to Barboursville.

A lot can happen in one year. ❤️

Earlier this month, we celebrated the grand opening of Village Caregiving: Lander, WY and one year of serving families throughout Fremont County and beyond.

Since opening in August 2025, Executive Director Jenni Poor and her team have grown to serve 172 clients across eight Wyoming counties, supported by 52 local caregivers.

But for Jenni, the work has always been about more than growth.

“A lot of times I’m just a resource for folks when they call,” she told County 10 . “It’s not necessarily about getting business. It’s just about helping people.”

Members of our Home Office team traveled from West Virginia to celebrate alongside Jenni, local leaders, community partners, caregivers, and neighbors who have supported the office along the way.

Congratulations to Jenni and the entire team on an incredible first year. ❤️
