We had to do this trend since we are celebrating 5 years in the new clinic! If you’ve known TVS from the beginning, you know that Dr. Chanda started this clinic as a mobile-only clinic with the iconic black truck (that we still have) and the trailer. You may have seen her parked at Roses or other parking lots in surrounding counties where people brought their animals for vet visits and check-ups. TVS soon turned into the little clinic it was on Rose Avenue, across from where it is now. Through the hard work, determination, blood, sweat and tears, TVS has become the clinic that we all love today and we are all so thankful for the growth y’all have allowed. Happy 5 year anniversary to our new clinic!! (Yes, she’s still new in our eyes) 🥳🐾🩺

✨ HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK ✨
Meet Jessica! She has been with TVS since the truck and trailer days! We’re pretty sure Jessica has been in vet med since she could walk and talk! One of Jessica’s specialties is handling those animals who may be a tad spicy and misunderstood, especially cats! If you’ve seen her farm, she loves everything with a heartbeat, whether it has fur or scales, so anything that comes through our door is her favorite!! 🐴🐍🐶

✨ HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK ✨
Meet Rashad! He has been with TVS for 7 years. Rashad decided to go into vet med so he could help the animals and their owners that were in need. His favorite part about being a tech is looking at different samples under the microscope and reproduction in cattle! His favorite animals to work on are cows, from the meanest bull to the sweetest newborn calf!🐄 🐮 💉

✨ HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK ✨
Meet Lanie! She has been at TVS since May of this year. Lanie went into vet med because of her big heart for animals and she wanted to give them the care that they deserve. Her favorite part about being a tech is seeing all of the different animals and the unique names their owners come up with. Her favorite animal is a cat, of course! 🐱🐾

*if your pet has a super unique name, comment it below to share with Lanie!!*

✨ HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK ✨
Meet Abby. She has been with TVS since June of this year. She went into vet med because of her love for animals, but also because she wanted to help them and their owners and make a difference by doing so. Her favorite animals are horses and dogs, especially any spaniel or hunting breed of dog. She adores any English Cocker Spaniel or Brittany Spaniel that walks through the clinic door! 🐶🐾🐴

*if you have any spaniel breed, post a picture in the comments for Abby to see*

✨ HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK ✨
Meet Sarah! She has been with TVS for 3 years. Sarah decided to go into vet med so she could be a voice for animals and advocate for them. She also wanted to be friends with the extra spicy ones that are typically misunderstood. Her favorite part about being a tech is pulling blood or placing IV catheters. Her favorite animals are bulldog or pitties, or any mix along those lines! 🐶🐾💉

*if you have a pittie or bulldog breed, post a picture in the comments for Sarah to see*

Today starts the first day of National Veterinary Technician Week! Our techs are the ones people you will see in the room, before talking to a veterinarian. These are the people who will take all the history on your pet and all of the initial vitals. These are the people who are right beside each of our doctors, caring for your pet, running the diagnostic tests to see why your pet may be sick, and following that case from the beginning to the end. A veterinary technician is many jobs all into one. Please take the time this week to say thank you to our techs!! 🩵🐾

Tomorrow is the Deep South Oldest Rivalry and the game our clinic looks the most forward to!! What are your predictions?? 🐶🐾🏈🐯
