Walton Retirement Home Cherishing People since 1944 Christian principles guide the love and support we provide. Security is provided by our 24 hour staff and wireless call system.

Walton Retirement Home is an affordable, non-profit community for assisted and independent living where residents and their families are cherished. We offer help with daily activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, dressing and medication assistance. We have an on-site beauty salon and offer many activities to entertain our residents.

Thank you to the Masonic Riders for coming out and visiting our residents and spoiling them with pie and ice cream. You made one resident's day by letting her sit on the motorcycle! We had a fun filled week playing volleyball, making fall wreaths so they can hang on their own door. Residents had a fun little stroll in the courtyard making sure the paving crew was doing their job right! Thank you, Jodie ward for the beautiful banner you had made, this is so fitting bc our residents love sitting on the bench in the courtyard and waving to cars going by, they have smiles for miles! The entertainment that the residents loved was watching the gutters getting cleaned they cheered him on! Thank you, Art, for all your hard work today. Happy Thursday!! Good Luck to all the kids going back to school today & we hope you have a wonderful year! A little highlight of our week has been so much fun. Our Lunch Bunch crew went to Dairy Queen for their outing and the women said they tried to behave themselves, but it didn't work 😁🤣😀 We had our special visitors, the cutest dogs ever. We enjoyed music with Alex he is a joy to have around! The residents started on a new project making a quilt, they have been busy cutting out squares while Jodie W, sews them together, we are excited for the finish project!! Thursday is Beauty Shop Day & Polishing Nail Day! Thank you to our volunteers that make our residents feel good. Bradli Baker does an amazing job on the women & men's hair. Thanks again to our community and our awesome staff that make the Walton Home amazing and all of the compliments that we get day in and day out.!

What an awesome week we have had @ The Walton Retirement Home! Big shout out to Jodie Ward & Lisa Heath for the amazing Elvis week. The residents got to make their own Elvis sunglasses (absolutely adorable) and watching Elvis's movies to singing Elvis's songs and so much more. Our very own Lydia made apple dumplings from scratch, and it was a big hit, Yummy!!! Dancing and singing today was definitely what the doctor ordered! Thank you to Beth Loy from Visiting Angels spoiling our residents with banana splits! Thank you, Jodie Ward, for taking some of our residents to the Watt Center tonight for the educational history of the Children's Home. Thank you to our staff our community for all the extras everyone puts in for our residents! What do you do on a hot day? We go to Fairly Land and back road sight-seeing & Music playing and thinking of al the l " Remember When's" Stone rise Hospice held a Sock Hop Concert and our residents enjoyed this so much!! Thank you to everyone that came out to support everyone in the Fun-n-The ville, it was a great time! We had our very own Independent Resident "Kay " help pass out back to school supplies! So, a lot of people have been asking if they can come out and volunteer and do fun stuff with the residents, absolutely!! Just get a hold of Jodie Ward or Lisa Heath to schedule the event! Hope every has a wonderful weekend stay cool!

You scream, I scream, We all scream for ice cream!! What a wonderful night to have the Walton Home Family gather for Jacks Snacks LLC summer bash. Lots of fun & laughter is what it is all about. This makes Jacks Snacks LLC his 3rd year out to the Walton Home & he never disappoints, Jack even had treats for the fur babies! Thank you to all that came out and enjoyed the fun with us!
