It’s graduation season! Please join us in congratulating Matt on graduating from as a Physical Therapist Assistant!

Many of you who have been with us will recognize Matt from his time in the clinic as a rehab aide. We are excited to share that he will be returning to the clinic this summer as a PT Assistant, and we can’t wait to welcome him back in this new role.

We are incredibly proud of all the hard work and dedication he has shown throughout his program, and we look forward to seeing him bring his new skills, knowledge, and energy to our patients and team.

It’s Professional Administration Day!

We’re so grateful and lucky for the amazing support that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes and upon entering our offices.

A big thank you to Kelli and Debbie for your steady dedication, hard work, and everything you do day in and day out, especially your patience for Seans singing!

We’re also way overdue to officially celebrate Megan as part of the team. What started as helping out in the office has grown into a full-time role, and we’re so happy to have her almost a year now!

Shoutout to our student Hannah, for her presentation at the clinic this Friday! 👏

As part of giving back through her doctoral program requirements, Hannah led a great session for our ortho PT team focused on the role of pelvic floor health in patients with hip and low back pain.

With the strong foundation we already have from our pelvic health OT/PT team, Hannah’s presentation helped further support and build on that knowledge — reinforcing how pelvic floor dysfunction can sometimes be the missing link in patient progress.

She shared practical tools we can continue to integrate into care, including breathing strategies, core strengthening, and quick pelvic floor screening to help guide referrals when appropriate.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to keep learning from one another and strengthening our collaborative approach to patient care. Thanks, Hannah, for continuing to support the team! 💙

🌟 New Team Member Spotlight! 🌟

We’re so happy to introduce Simone, the newest occupational therapist at Barnstable Physical Therapy!

Simone brings experience in pediatrics and has a strong interest in women’s health. She believes the best care happens through a holistic and collaborative approach, partnering with clients to help them achieve meaningful goals and improve their everyday function.

Simone earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Public Health and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Husson University.

We’re excited to have Simone join our team and look forward to the knowledge, compassion, and energy she brings to our patients and community!

Good news and bad news….Barnstable Village and Harwich Port clinics have power!! 🥳 Unfortunately Osterville is still in the dark.😞

We are doing a little footwork and scheduling magic to do our best to treat as many clients previously scheduled, in the days to come. This may include offering times outside regular business hours.

Please be patient with us and maybe a little flexible, as we fully reopen. We promise to get all patients back on track and on their rehab plans quickly! Our phone lines are open if you need to reach out with questions or concerns.
