We are so excited to share about this new project that we are rolling out. Thank you so much to our Activities Director Michelle LaPerle for coming up with this fun way to engage the community and spread some joy.

We have asked people we serve, some community partners and folks that visit our table at events to paint a rock for us. The back of the rock has a QR code that links to our website so people can learn more about who we are and what we do. We will be hiding them around the community and hope people will post photos to our Facebook as they find the rocks and either keep them or re-hide them around the community. Recovery rocks! LIterally!

πŸ“’ Important Closure Notice

Please note that we will be closed Friday, July 31, as our team attends the Coming Together Addiction Summit. If you're interested in attending and live in Central Vermont, please reach out and we will try to coordinate a ride for you! It's a great opportunity to celebrate recovery and learn more about the work being done state-wide.

We will also be closed Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th as we focus on moving into our new location at 18 South Main Street.

If you need support during this time, please send us a message here on Facebook or call (802) 622-0251 and leave a voicemail if we don't pick up. We will respond as soon as we are able.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we invest in professional development and prepare our new space for the community. We look forward to welcoming you to 18 South Main Street soon!

We're looking for individuals with lived experience to help make our Overdose Awareness Event a meaningful and healing space for our community.

If you have lost someone to an overdose or have survived an overdose yourself, we invite you to consider sharing your story. Personal stories have the power to reduce stigma, foster connection and remind others that they are not alone. Your voice could bring hope, healing, and understanding to those who attend.

If you're interested in participating or would like to learn more, please email Michelle LaPerle at [email protected].

Thank you for considering being part of this important event and helping us honor lives, support healing and inspire compassion.

Planning is well underway for our 2nd Annual Overdose Awareness Day Vigil πŸ’œπŸ•―

Join us on Tuesday, August 31, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM as we come together to honor the lives of those we've lost to overdose, support one another, and remember that every life mattered.

πŸ“ Location details will be announced soon.

If you would like to have a loved one remembered during the evening, please submit their information to Michelle LaPerle, Activities Director, at [email protected].

For each submission, please include: Your loved one’s Name, Age at the time of passing and their City or Town of Residence

Photos are optional, but if you'd like your loved one's photo included in our remembrance slideshow, please send one along with their information. Every name submitted will be read aloud during our candlelight vigil.

A heartfelt thank you to Central Vermont Prevention Coalition for generously sponsoring this event for the second year in a row. Community support like this makes meaningful gatherings such as this possible, and we are incredibly grateful.

We hope you'll join us for this special evening of remembrance, hope, and healing πŸ’œ
