No reason to stay home when you can go have fun!

Kiddos went to an event today where competition was hard, fun was at max, sun felt good and community booths was informative!

One kiddo placed in stick pony race, one kiddo won the ugliest feet competition, but the skillet throw, egg toss and basketball free throws games was worth playing too 😁

Huge thank you to Pivot (Family Junction) for hosting a Youth Shelter get-together at Riversport OKC and ending the day with a delicious BBQ this last wednesday!

Experiences like this help our kiddos learn, grow, and connect in ways that aren't possible inside the shelter. Throughout the day they practiced teamwork, communication, problem-solving, encouraging one another, and trying new things—all important life skills that help build confidence and prepare them for the future.

It was one of those days filled with smiles, laughter, and memories our kiddos will be talking about for a long time. Our staff had just as much fun joining and watching them challenge themselves, cheer each other on, and simply enjoy being kids. Thank you again to everyone at Pivot (Family Junction) for making it such a special day for all of us!

Exploring new places gives our kiddos at the shelter the chance to learn, build confidence, and enjoy experiences they may not have otherwise.

Our trip to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve let them experience Oklahoma's natural beauty, wildlife, and even the buffalo while making memories together. If you haven't been, it's worth the visit to experience one of the largest remaining tallgrass prairies in the world!

We are so thankful to Leadership Bartlesville Class ###V for raising the funds to renovate our sensory room at the Youth Shelter and for gathering volunteers to put our vison to life!

Our sensory room gives youth a safe, calming space to regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and work through overwhelming moments in a healthy way. Take a look at what our kiddos can use when they need to get away, reset, and recharge. We appreciate your investment in the youth we serve.
