Congratulations to our own Dr. Xanthoudakis for his recent recognition as a Master Surgeon by the Surgical Review Corporation, an organization that guides the development of accreditation programs around the world. The Master Surgeon designation is given to those who meet rigorous standards for patient safety, performance improvement and surgical excellence. Dr. Xanthoudakis was congratulated by our hospital leadership and surgical services team!

Exciting progress is underway across BayCare! 🎉
BayCare just celebrated a topping out ceremony for BayCare Hospital Manatee, marking placement of the final steel beam on the health system's 17th hospital.
Expected to open in 2028, the hospital will expand access to high-quality care and support the growing health care needs of Manatee County. We are proud to be part of BayCare as we continue expanding access to care across the region.
