Meade, Mulberry, rural south Polk County and northern Hardee County. Physicians and healthcare professionals at Bartow Regional Medical Center provide a variety of services. The hospital is equipped with four surgery suites and two gastroenterology suites. The emergency services department is staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and specially trained nurses, 24 hours a day, seven days

We are excited to welcome Dr. Melissa Rampal, our new chief medical officer! She joins Bartow Regional Medical Center with more than a decade of physician leadership experience across acute, post-acute and population health settings. In her previous executive roles, Dr. Rampal led systemwide initiatives to improve physician engagement, reduce hospital-acquired conditions, enhance interdisciplinary communication and develop innovative care models, including inpatient dialysis, palliative care services and population health programs for chronic kidney disease and hypertension.
