The (M) Factor 2: Before the Pause explores the hidden reality of perimenopause—the years leading up to menopause that often disrupt women’s physical, emotional, and professional lives. Through powerful personal stories and expert perspectives, the film highlights how symptoms are frequently dismissed, how healthcare gaps leave women unsupported, and why early recognition and education are essential to protecting long-term health and well-being.

“Today I feel good because…”
APRIL 1, 1977 - 2ND GRADE: At 8 years old I felt good because I lost weight.
WHAT!? WHY!?
Because that’s what I was taught..losing weight was something to be proud of..something good..something others will celebrate with you..something that makes you acceptable, lovable, good enough, worthy.
***
I was recently asked why I do the work that I do..and this is part of my why..part of my story.
***
I have come to learn and understand a different truth..one that teaches me that I don’t ever have to change my body in any way to feel good about who I am in this world.
***
I do what I do to learn from and support others as they find their own truth on their journey, AND encourage them to live gently, unapologetically, authentically, and with kindness. 🙏❤️🌏
***
If what makes you feel good is at all harmful, I challenge you to look at that with an open heart and talk about it with someone supportive..because there is another way.
