Silver Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

This week, patients and residents enjoyed a special Black & White Attire Luncheon featuring a delicious spread prepared by Dietary Manager, Ashley, and Cook, Maria! From slow-cooked baby back ribs and Southern-style green beans to mashed potatoes and peach cobbler, every bite was a hit. 🍑✨

Activity Director, Sunya, topped it all off with a refreshing peach bellini mocktail! We all couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was! 😋💙

Happy National Senior Citizens Day! 🌟 Let's come together to honor the seniors in our lives who have influenced our families, communities, and the future ahead; their stories are a source of inspiration, and we feel privileged to support them.

Healthy aging is about more than adding years to life—it's about adding life to those years. Small, everyday choices can make a big difference, including:

🛍️✨ This week, team members celebrated National Thrift Shop Day with a fun challenge! Everyone picked out a one-of-a-kind outfit for a teammate to wear, and the results did not disappoint!

🌬️💙 Our Beat the Heat Fan Drive was a HUGE success! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our , we collected more than TWO-HUNDRED fans! We were able to provide Meals on Wheels with enough fans for every household in need, donate to the Bastrop Food Pantry, and provide 30+ fans to seniors in Bastrop County. What an amazing impact! 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated! We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped us keep our neighbors cool this summer! ☀️
