Summer is beginning is slow exhale.
The days are beginning to grow shorter. A slow surrender to the coming darkness. The sun lingers a little less, the evenings are touched with a soft coolness, and the earth begins her quiet turning toward autumn.
We feel it, too.
Something shifts within us as the light begins to wane. Our bodies attune themselves to the changing rhythm—melatonin rising, serotonin gently receding—as though some ancient knowing reminds us that this, too, is part of the cycle.
A time to gather inward.
To become still enough to notice what is changing beneath the surface. To listen to the subtle language of our bodies, the shifting tides of our energy, the emotions that rise and settle with the seasons.
Nature does not resist.
The leaves do not cling to the summer light. The fields do not apologize for going quiet. Everything simply responds to the rhythm of what is coming.
We are being asked to do the same.
To slow down. To root deeper. To gather what we need. To tend to the inner landscape before the days grow darker.
Summer reminds us how to bloom.
Autumn begins to teach us how to let go.
And somewhere between the two, we are invited to remember that turning inward is not retreat—
it is returning to the wisdom of the earth,
to the rhythm of our bodies,
and to the quiet knowing of what we are becoming.
Let this be your gentle reminder to take a moment to pause, breathe deeply…let go of any resistance you might have leading into the changing of the seasons, and instead welcome it with grace and an open heart. #🫶🏻✨
