For Halloween parties, instead of bringing candy or cupcakes, make these guilt-free Chocolate Pretzel and Cherry Popcorn Balls that use healthier ingredients like peanut butter and dried cherries.

One of the biggest concerns among my patients is developing cancer. I tell them that even though many cancers can be attributed to genes and the environment, there are some lifestyle behaviors you can adopt that can help lower your risk, for example, your diet. Some studies link certain cancers with dietary habits and the way cancer cells produce energy.

People who have a higher risk of cancer may want to consider making some dietary changes, at the very least.

I have become intrigued with this new plant-based dieting. Here is a recipe rich in plant-based proteins I want to share with my patients.
