Our residents put their culinary skills to the test during our Build-Your-Own Burger Bar! 🍔👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

Everyone had the chance to create their perfect burger or cheeseburger with their favorite toppings and fixings. From classic creations to towering masterpieces, each burger was as unique as the resident who made it! 😄

Activities like these encourage independence, creativity, and socialization while giving residents the opportunity to enjoy good food and great company.

One thing we learned? Everyone has their own idea of the “perfect burger” and they were all pretty proud of their creations! 🍔❤️

🇺🇸 Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. At Baton Rouge Healthcare Center, our residents celebrated Memorial Day with patriotic spirit, smiles, and lots of red, white, and blue! ❤️🤍💙

From festive beads and Memorial Day headbands to waving American flags, today was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments as we reflected on the true meaning of this special day. We are so thankful for the heroes who served our country and for the residents who continue to share their stories, strength, and wisdom with us each day.

Today reminded us that freedom is never free, and that honoring our veterans and fallen heroes can be done with remembrance, love, and community. 🇺🇸✨

🌴🍧 DAY 4 of BRHC Nursing Home Week 2026 🍧🌴

Our residents and staff enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon during our Tropical Bloom Bash Snowball Truck Social! ☀️🌺

Nothing says summer fun like cold snowballs, good music, laughter, and spending time together with friends! Residents and staff loved cooling off with sweet treats while enjoying the tropical vibes throughout the building. 🍧🎶💖

From smiles and conversations to colorful flavors and happy memories, this was another beautiful reminder that the little moments truly matter. 🌸

🤠🌻 DAY 3 of BRHC Nursing Home Week 2026 🌻🤠

We brought out the western vibes for our “Country in Bloom” themed celebration! 🌾✨

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with good food, great music, laughter, and wonderful company as we served delicious pulled pork sliders and potato salad while listening to country music together! 🎶🤎

From cowboy hats and bandanas to smiles all around the room, today was full of sweet moments and western fun that truly made our moments bloom. 🌻

At BRHC, it’s not just about the activities, it’s about creating joy, comfort, laughter, and meaningful memories with the residents we love so much every single day. ❤️

✌🏽🌸 Day 2 of our BRHC Nursing Home Week celebration was filled with music, smiles, and groovy fun! 🌸✌🏽

Our residents started the day enjoying wonderful live entertainment with Brett! 🎶💖 The room was filled with singing, dancing, laughter, and so many happy moments shared together.

Later that evening, residents cooled off and enjoyed creating fun drinks at our Dirty Soda Bar! 🥤✨ From sweet flavors to good conversations and lots of smiles, it was definitely a groovy good time at BRHC! ☮️🪩🌼

🌸✌🏽 Kicking Off Nursing Home Week at BRHC ✌🏽🌸

We officially started our “Moments in Bloom” Nursing Home Week celebration with our Floral Frenzy themed day, and it was filled with smiles, laughter, and wonderful moments together! 🌼🪩💖

Our residents enjoyed a fun morning of Bingo with prizes and great company, followed by a delicious Pizza Party with pizza, salad, and sodas! 🍕🥗🥤

A HUGE thank you to Domino’s Pizza for generously donating 10 pizzas to our residents during Nursing Home Week. Your kindness helped make our celebration extra special, and we truly appreciate your support! ❤️

At BRHC, we believe the little moments matter most, the laughter shared around the table, the smiles during activities, and the joy of simply being together. 🌸

✨🎬 LIGHTS, CARE, ACTION! 🎬✨ The red carpet was officially rolled out at BRHC as we celebrated our incredible nurses in true Hollywood style at our very own BRHC Nurse Oscars! ⭐🏆 From the moment they arrived, our nurses were treated like the stars they truly are. Each nurse received personalized shirts and matching bags featuring our theme, “Lights, Care, Action,” as a small reminder of just how much their hard work, compassion, and dedication mean to our facility every single day. ❤️ The atmosphere was unforgettable — a glamorous red carpet entrance, beautiful décor, amazing food, live music, laughter, and a room full of people who show up daily with hearts full of care for our residents. 🎶✨ Our nurses enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring steak topped with shrimp, loaded potatoes, green beans, and a dessert selection that was almost too pretty to eat! 🍽️🍤🥩🍰 The live band kept the celebration going and brought such an elegant and fun vibe to the afternoon. At BRHC, we know nursing is more than a job — it’s compassion, patience, sacrifice, strength, and love all wrapped into one. Our nurses are the heartbeat of this building, and we are beyond thankful for the care they provide to our residents and families every day.
