The Cozy Corner was created to encourage choice, independence, relaxation, and meaningful leisure, because sometimes a quiet moment doing something you enjoy is exactly what you need. 💛

Of course, Baton Rouge Healthcare Center had to bring a little Christmas cheer to the summertime! ❤️💚

Our Christmas in July Family & Friends Bingo Night was filled with laughter, friendly competition, great prizes, and plenty of holiday spirit! There’s nothing better than seeing our residents enjoying a fun-filled evening surrounded by family, friends, and our BRHC family.

At BRHC, we believe every season is a reason to celebrate, make memories, and bring our residents together. Who says you have to wait until December for a little Christmas magic? 🎅🏽🎁

☀️🌴 SUMMER FUN WEEK at BRHC! 🌴☀️

For Cooking with Chayastie, we brought the beach vibes inside! 🏖️🌊 Our residents had a blast making their own Beach Cups, a fun, sweet summer treat complete with sandy shores, blue water, and gummy bears floating in their tubes! 🐻🛟💙

Nothing says Summer Fun Week like getting creative, making memories, and enjoying something sweet! ☀️😋🏖️

🚗💦♿ BEEP BEEP… Coming Through the BRHC Wheelchair Car Wash! 😎🧽✨

As part of our Summer Fun Week, our residents pulled up for a little wash, shine, and a WHOLE lot of fun! 😂☀️

Wheelchairs got cleaned and shined, the music was playing, and our residents were dancing their way through the car wash! 💃🏽🕺🏽🫧 From the smiles to the laughs, they had an absolute BLAST and honestly, we’re not sure who had more fun, the residents or the staff! 🤣

At Baton Rouge Healthcare Center, even getting your wheels cleaned can turn into a party! 💦♿✨

🌻🎨 Creativity was in full bloom at Baton Rouge Healthcare Center! 🍪💛

Yesterday, our residents had so much fun creating beautiful sunflower paintings using Q-tips and forks, proving that a little creativity can go a long way! To make the afternoon even sweeter, everyone enjoyed fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven.

We love creating activities that encourage creativity, spark memories, and bring smiles to our residents’ faces. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, art, and delicious treats! 🌻🖌️🍪

🍋💛 Summer Lemonade Taste Test at BRHC! 💛🍋

Our residents had an amazing time cooling off with a fun Lemonade Taste Test! They sampled four delicious flavors🍋 Regular, 🫐 Blueberry, 🍇 Grape, and 🌴 Tropical Punch and cast their votes for their favorite.

🏆 The winner was… Tropical Punch Lemonade! 🌴🍋
🥈 Runner-up: Grape Lemonade! 🍇🍋

To make our celebration even sweeter, we also enjoyed freshly baked lemon cupcakes topped with lemon icing, it truly was a full on Lemon Day! 🍋🧁

There were lots of smiles, laughter, conversations, and friendly competition as everyone enjoyed trying something new together.

At BRHC, our activities are about so much more than just having fun. Every program is thoughtfully planned to encourage socialization, sensory stimulation, decision-making, learning, and healthy hydration, all while creating meaningful moments for our residents.
