We’re excited to welcome Joelle Daigrepont to the Always Hope team as one of our newest Medication Management Providers!

Joelle is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care and helping clients feel heard, supported, and confident in their treatment. As part of our medication management team, she will work alongside our clients to better understand their needs, explore treatment options, and develop a plan that supports their overall mental health and well-being.

Joelle is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing personalized, supportive care to individuals across all stages of life. Certified in perinatal mental health, she has a special interest in supporting women and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, being outdoors, staying active, and cheering on LSU.

Intern

Susana is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Nicholls State University. She uses a solution-focused approach incorporating CBT and person-centered strategies to help clients navigate life’s challenges, recognize their strengths, and work toward personal growth. She strives to create a welcoming, empathetic, and judgment-free environment built on collaboration and cultural humility. Susana comes from a Hispanic background and is also able to provide support in Spanish.

💙 Your Presence Matters More Than Your Perfection.

As a new school year begins, it's easy to get caught up in the schedules, supplies, homework, and endless to-do lists. But months from now, your child probably won't remember whether every folder was labeled perfectly or if lunch was packed exactly right.

They'll remember the little moments that matter. Car rides, dinner conversations, bedtime check-ins, and encouraging words are where connection grows.

This school year, don't put pressure on yourself to do everything perfectly. Focus on creating moments that remind your child they are loved, supported, and never alone. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can give our children isn't another item on the checklist, it's our attention.

💬 Sometimes the best conversations happen after school.

When your child gets in the car or walks through the door, it's easy to ask, "How was school?" But that question often gets the same one-word answer: "Fine."

Instead, try asking questions that invite them to share more about their day and how they're feeling. There's no perfect script, just being present, listening without rushing to solve every problem, and showing genuine curiosity can help build trust over time.

As the school year begins, don't underestimate the power of a few handwritten words tucked inside a lunchbox or backpack.

A simple note can remind a child that they're loved, believed in, and supported even on the hardest days. Sometimes, the smallest gestures leave the biggest impression.
