We constantly invest in our therapists so they can provide the best services to our patients! Newly EMDR trained! Congrats
Kati Lebeau!! Read her bio below!

One quote has deeply shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be: “I found the world to be woefully lacking in safe spaces, so I became one.” With empathy and authenticity, I work to create a place where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment.

I am a school counselor and Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I completed EMDR Basic Training through the EMDR Institute. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, my Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in School Counseling, and a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Studies from Liberty University.

I take a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy, integrating EMDR, CBT, narrative therapy, and existential principles. I believe our experiences shape the identities we believe about ourselves, but those stories do not have to define who we are or where we are going. Therapy can be a place to make sense of what you've been through, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to heal.

My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and self-esteem. I especially enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths, understand the patterns that may be holding them back, and discover that change is possible.

For clients who desire it, I am also honored to incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles into the counseling process. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients through the healing process and to witness them grow into the person they are becoming.

🎒💛 Back to School: A Fresh Start for Kids AND Parents

The back-to-school season can bring excitement, new routines, and fresh opportunities, but it can also bring anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and big emotions for the whole family.

For kids, going back to school may mean:
📚 Worrying about a new teacher or classroom
🚌 Anxiety about friendships or fitting in
😴 Adjusting to an earlier sleep schedule
🎯 Feeling pressure to perform or succeed
💭 Missing the freedom of summer

And parents may be feeling it too:
⏰ Juggling schedules, activities, homework, and work
💰 Managing the added financial stress of a new school year
😰 Worrying about how your child will adjust
🧠 Feeling overwhelmed by everyone's needs
❤️ Trying to support your child while managing your own emotions

Remember: You don't have to start the school year perfectly.

Try focusing on connection before correction. Give your children space to talk about their worries without immediately trying to fix them. Establish routines gradually when possible, prioritize sleep, and make time for moments of fun and connection.

Most importantly, remind your child, and yourself, that struggling with a transition doesn't mean you're failing. It means you're adjusting.

🌱 A new school year is a transition, not a test of perfection.

At Magnolia Therapy Group, we believe mental health deserves a place on every back-to-school checklist. If your child or you as a parent are feeling overwhelmed by the transition, support is available.

💛 New year. New routines. Same reminder: You don't have to do it all alone.

Feeling the Summer Heat?

Summer brings sunshine, vacations, and opportunities to make memories with the people we care about. It can also bring stress, busy schedules, changes in routine, and the feeling that there's never enough time to recharge.

If you've been feeling a little overwhelmed, here are 10 simple ways to reset and take care of yourself this summer:

Find Your Favorite Way to Cool Off
Whether it's sitting by the pool, visiting the beach, floating in a river, or simply dipping your feet in the water, spending time around water can be a great way to unwind and recharge.

Stay Hydrated
When we're dehydrated, we can feel more tired, irritable, and unfocused.

Take a Break from Screens
Give yourself permission to step away from social media, email, and constant notifications.

Protect Your Rest
Longer days and packed schedules can make it easy to sacrifice sleep. Try to prioritize getting a full night's rest.

Make Time for Enjoyment
Read, garden, cook, create, or revisit a hobby that helps you relax.

Move Your Body
A walk, bike ride, swim, or dance session can be a great way to relieve stress.

Connect with Others
Spend quality time with family, friends, or your partner. Meaningful connections help us feel supported.

Slow Down
Take a few moments each day to pause, reflect, and check in with yourself.

Keep Some Routine
Even during summer, a little structure can help both children and adults feel more balanced.

Reach Out for Support
You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Sometimes talking things through can make all the difference.

Summer is a reminder that taking care of yourself doesn't have to be complicated. Small, intentional choices can help you feel more refreshed, connected, and ready to enjoy the season.

The Magnolia Mindset for June is out! See the link below!
Summer can be a season of growth, connection, and enjoyment, but it can also bring disrupted routines, social pressure, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. If you find yourself struggling during these months, remember that your experience is more common than you may think.

By recognizing unhelpful thought patterns, creating flexible routines, limiting comparisons, and practicing CBT skills, you can navigate summer with greater self-awareness and emotional resilience.

At Magnolia Therapy Group, we believe mental health deserves attention in every season. If anxiety, stress, depression, or life transitions are making it difficult to enjoy your summer, professional support can help you develop the tools needed to move forward with confidence and balance.

Healing doesn't have a season, and you don't have to navigate these challenges alone. 🌻

Mental Health Awareness Month is coming to a close; we want to gently remind everyone that caring for your mental health doesn’t have to be complicated. Small pauses throughout the day can help bring your mind and body back into alignment. 💚
Here are a few simple CBT techniques you can practice anytime you need a moment to reset. This helps bring you back to the present moment.

🌬️ TIP Skill – Temperature & Breathing
Take a few slow breaths and place cool water on your hands or face. Slowing the body down can help calm overwhelming emotions.

✨ CBT Techniques🧠 Check the Thought - Ask yourself:
“Is this thought a fact, or is it fear, stress, or self-criticism talking?”
Sometimes our minds need compassion, not criticism.

📝 Pause & Reframe
Replace: “I have to do everything perfectly.”
With: “I can do my best one step at a time.”
Small shifts in thinking can create meaningful emotional change.

Today, take a moment to plant your feet firmly on the ground, unclench your jaw, relax your shoulders, and give yourself permission to breathe. You deserve care too. 🌸

Mental Health Awareness Month is here, and at Magnolia, we strive to break the stigma around mental health!

Healing isn’t just about what people can see on the outside. 💚

Just like we care for our physical health, our mental and emotional well-being deserves attention, support, and compassion too. Anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, grief, and stress are not signs of weakness — they are human experiences, and no one should feel ashamed for needing help.

At Magnolia Therapy Group, we believe seeking therapy is a sign of strength, courage, and self-respect. Breaking the stigma starts with honest conversations, compassion, and reminding people that healing is not something you have to do alone.

You deserve to heal physically, emotionally, and mentally. 🌿

As April comes to a close, take a moment to check in with yourself.

What felt heavy this month?
What felt meaningful?
What are you ready to carry forward and what are you ready to let go of?

Growth doesn’t always look like big changes. Sometimes it looks like showing up on the hard days, setting a boundary, or simply getting through.

As we move into a new month, give yourself permission to reset without pressure to be perfect.

You don’t have to do it all. You just have to keep going.

If you need support, we’re here. 🤍

Building a More Inclusive World, One Conversation at a Time.

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Magnolia Therapy Group invites you to reflect on the beauty of the neurodiverse experience.

Autism is often invisible, yet its impact on how an individual processes the world is profound. From sensory sensitivities to unique social navigation, every journey is distinct. We believe that true support starts with understanding, not just observation.

We remain dedicated to being a sanctuary for our clients, a place where your "true self" is the priority. "A little understanding and compassion can make a meaningful difference."

Join us this month in practicing intentional inclusion. 💙
