I am seeking African American female Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to participate in a doctoral research study exploring their experiences returning to counseling work after childbirth.

You may be eligible if you:
* Reside in the United States
* Are licensed to practice professional counseling as an LPC
* Gave birth to at least one child within the past three years
* Returned to counseling work after childbirth
* Have at least two years of experience providing counseling services

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, I wanted to leave you with one final reminder: seeking support is not weakness, it is self-awareness, courage, and an investment in yourself.

In this video, I share what you can expect when beginning counseling services and why that first session doesn't have to be as intimidating as it may seem. Therapy is a collaborative space for growth, healing, support, and understanding.

If you've been thinking about reaching out for help, let this be your sign to take the first step. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin.
