Friday Night Clinic is BACK!

Our first clinic of the season was a success, with athletes from across our community coming in for care.

Every Friday night during the season, BROC provides FREE orthopedic care from 9–11 p.m. for student-athletes who need evaluation and treatment for sports-related injuries.

If your athlete is dealing with a sports injury, come see us! No appointment and no cost.

Thank you to Smalls Sliders for providing food and Dr. Nathan Hensler and Cypress Physical Therapy for teaming up to provide great care!

Getting people back to work takes a team.

Dr. Bowlin recently shared his expertise at the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry - LABI annual Workers’ Compensation Conference, presenting “A Surgeon’s Perspective on Workers’ Compensation: Work Comp & Hand Injuries.”

The conference brings together Louisiana employers, attorneys and workers’ compensation professionals to discuss the issues that impact injured workers and the workplace.

Dr. Bowlin shared a surgeon’s perspective on the rehabilitation process and emphasized the importance of employers, patients, physicians and care teams working together with one common goal: helping patients recover and return to work safely and successfully.

His presentation highlighted not only his expertise in treating hand injuries, but also the compassion and advocacy he brings to his role as a physician. Recovery is a collaborative process, and when everyone communicates and works together, the patient benefits most.

We’re proud to have Dr. Bowlin representing BROC and advocating for a workers’ compensation process that keeps the patient at the center of care.

Because getting someone back to work isn’t just about treating an injury — it’s about helping them get back to their life.

For nearly 30 years, we’ve provided free injury evaluations and treatment for area athletes on Friday nights during football season.
