Today we recognized 32 employees who reached the milestones of 5, 10, 15, and 20 years at St. James Place at our Employee Service Award Program. Thom Melancon, Vice President/CFO said, “The mission and the people are the reasons I have remained here for 20 years. I have met so many friendly and fascinating residents, many of whom not only ask me about work, but frequently ask about me and my family. I have also worked with some of the most genuine and talented people whose commitment to the community have made my job here so much more enjoyable. In short, I have remained at SJP for the sense of “family”. We have a fantastic community here, residents and staff, who are committed to always advancing the mission.”
