🌀 Hurricane season is here, Louisiana — and preparation matters.

As we prepare for severe weather, let’s also remember to care for our mental and emotional well-being. Storms can bring stress, anxiety, uncertainty, and overwhelm, especially for individuals and families already facing challenges.

Take time to create an emergency plan, check on loved ones, refill important medications, charge devices, and gather essential supplies before a storm approaches. Staying informed and prepared can help reduce fear during uncertain times. 💙

Most importantly, remember: you do not have to navigate difficult moments alone. Community, support, and connection matter — before, during, and after the storm.

Stay safe, stay prepared, and take care of one another.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, let’s remind the men in our lives that strength isn’t staying silent — strength is speaking up, asking for help, and prioritizing wellness. 💙

Mental health matters for everyone, and no one should feel like they have to carry life’s challenges alone. Checking in, having honest conversations, and seeking support are powerful steps toward healing and growth.

To every man navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or burnout: you are seen, valued, and supported.
