While and represented at the Tangipahoa Chamber event, the DeltaBR physios headed out to watch one of our fave orthopedic docs (and 90's cover band singer extraordinaire) Wame Waggenspack and the play!

A lot of fun was had, and we were happy to support Red, Rock and Blue, an organization supporting Louisiana military charities.

Sad to see the burned out forest around Jasper but it is still one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

My second is done. It was a tough year to balance training and life and to recover from some significant low back issues. ... but I did it and was happy to finish this open with much better results than last year! Thanks to I even got proof of hitting my first chest to bar pull ups in a WOD!
The community is the absolute best and I am so grateful to be a part of it. has a good thing going there so everyone interested in improving their life needs to pop in and give it a go!

As you know and I started last Monday moving to a virtual clinic to combat this virus. We have completed all those steps and now are starting up our online sessions.
Online sessions are not just a PT watching you exercise online... for practitioners that basically do that in the clinic , along with heat and electric stim, the transition may be hard and the resulting product lacking. For us at we have strived to provide the best of PT. These sessions will be face to face and involve assessment of your needs and goals , your movement and ability. We will provide education and advice and load your inbox with resources to help you reach your goals. We can demo exercise and self management techniques and , frankly, provide you with what a good PT session should provide you with.

Good common sense. Like Adam, I understand there are exceptions for acute post op but there is no reason an outpatient MSK clinic should be running with business as usual. You will never see those that you harm and never know you caused harm.
Physical Therapy is essential, particularly with inpatient rehab and acute care , and the few exceptions noted. MSK clinics can be largely done online. The best part of online is that it makes a PT focus on what best care is anyway- exercise , guidance, advice and education, support. It eliminates heat pads and ultrasound and e stim. I hope it will help to change the practice patterns in the future when this is over.

I completely understand how many people feel about boxing. Getting your head knocked and knocking someone else's head repeatedly is not everyone's cup of tea. However there is no workout like going a few rounds with the heavy bag for getting the heart rate up and burning off some steam. Great way to start the day before the sun gets up

On my flight home and reflecting on what an incredible weekend it was in Louisiana! We had incredible crew of 35 motivated clinicians who wanted to work to better serve older adults. •

There were 15 deadlift PRs, beliefs that were challenged and some fitness with friends •
•
I’m so thankful to have wonderful TAs like and .fred.dpt who did an INCREDIBLE job with the labs and kept me in line. •

To and for hosting us... thank you! We had an amazing time. •
•
It is such an amazing dream come true to be able to (hopefully) positively influence our profession and share the stuff I love. •
