Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Baton Rouge offers an Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program focused on helping teens build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation and continue moving forward while remaining connected to school and family routines.

The program meets Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m.

Care is tailored to each adolescent’s needs, with therapeutic support and coordinated treatment designed to support both teens and their families.

Our Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Baton Rouge team was honored to celebrate Dr. Abigail Shoenfelt at The Capital Gala this past weekend, where she was recognized as one of the 2026 Faces of Impact.

The Capital Gala Baton Rouge has brought the Baton Rouge community together in the fight against cancer for 60 years, supporting the Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute and the Bella Bowman Foundation.

As a physician, colleague and 10-year cancer survivor, Dr. Shoenfelt brings compassion, strength and dedication to the patients and people around her each day. We are grateful to have her as part of our Oceans team and were proud to celebrate this special recognition alongside her.
