Alyssa has been a valued member of the Whealdon Estates team since early 2026, serving as the Concierge at the front desk. She helps meet residents’ needs and warmly welcomes guests, making everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Alyssa’s favorite part of working at Whealdon Estates is the joy, laughter, and smiles the residents bring to her life each day. She is grateful for the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with them and be part of their lives.

Outside of work, Alyssa loves to travel, and her dream destination is Iceland! ✈️

Good food and great company make every outing special! 🍽️ Our residents enjoyed a trip to Dearman's Diner, sharing a delicious meal and spending quality time together. It was a lovely way to get out, enjoy a change of scenery, and savor time with friends!

🌟 Resident Spotlight: Ann 🌟

We are delighted to shine the spotlight on Ann, one of Whealdon Estates’ most beloved residents!

At 92 years young, Ann has been part of our Whealdon Estates family since January 31, 2024. She is a proud mother of two daughters, grandmother of three grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother of six great-great-grandchildren.

We chose Ann for this month’s Resident Spotlight because she is one of the most loved residents in our community. She has friends on every floor, and everyone knows and adores her. Ann is always sweet, kind, and caring toward those around her.

One of Ann’s favorite things is spending time with her group of friends, sharing stories and anecdotes, and enjoying good conversations. She also absolutely adores children and loves being around them.

❤️ Favorite Color: Red

When asked what she loves most about Whealdon Estates, Ann shared that she loves how warm and kind everyone is. She especially appreciates the staff and says she loves them because they are always attentive and make sure the residents are doing well.

Ann, thank you for bringing so much kindness, friendship, and joy to our community. We are so lucky to have you as part of our Whealdon Estates family!
