Congratulations to CCDBR Advisory Board Vice Chair Dr. Coletta Barrett on being recognized as a 2026 Community Healthcare Champion! It is a well-deserved honor, and we are proud to have her as part of our Advisory Board!

We are honored to recognize Coletta C. Barrett, RN, MHA, FAHA, FACHE as one of our 2026 Community Healthcare Champions.

With more than four decades of leadership in health care, Coletta has dedicated her career to advancing mission-driven care, health equity, and advocacy for those most in need. Most recently, she served for 18 years as Vice President of Mission at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where she helped integrate compassionate, community-centered care into daily practice.

We need your help to care for some of the most vulnerable mothers and babies in our community.

At Sanctuary for Life, pregnant women experiencing homelessness find safety, stability, and hope. At St. Patrick House, new mothers and their infants are given a nurturing place to heal, grow, and build a brighter future together.

Right now, many of these moms and babies are in urgent need of everyday essentials. A simple gift can provide comfort to a mother facing uncertainty and help give a child the strong start they deserve.

Please consider supporting these families by purchasing an item from our Amazon wishlist: https://a.co/0agZPXjY.

What an incredible day of service at St. Margaret’s Food Distribution! 💙🧡

We are so grateful for our 58 amazing volunteers who gave 193.5 hours of their time to serve others. Because of your dedication, 183 families — totaling 525 individuals — received food and support this month.

Your kindness, teamwork, and servant hearts truly make a difference in our community. 🙏

We can’t wait to do it all again next month on Thursday, May 21st!

God bless each of you for all that you do! 💛

Today we celebrate Bishop Michael Duca’s anniversary of ordination to the priesthood.

Before being called to serve as bishop, he faithfully served as a priest in the Diocese of Dallas. We give thanks for his 48 years of priestly ministry and his continued “yes” to Christ and His Church. Please join us in celebrating him today!

Celebrating a night of impact, gratitude, and hope at our 2026 Annual Meeting!

We gathered to reflect on a year of transformation by honoring outstanding team members, recognizing dedicated volunteers, welcoming new advisory board members, and looking ahead to the future of our mission.

Serving over 4,000 individuals across 19 programs, this work is only possible because of our incredible community of supporters, staff, and volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and for being part of this mission to serve with dignity, compassion, and faith. Together, we continue to create hope.
