I am Kodi Brown, M.Ed., Ed.S. — a Behavior Specialist, Parent Educator, and Behavioral & Educational Expert Witness and Consultant specializing in child behavior, high-conflict custody matters, parent-child relationship challenges, reunification support, and educational advocacy.
My work brings together years of experience in education, school counseling, behavior intervention, and family systems to help parents, attorneys, and courts better understand children’s behavior through a developmental and educational lens.
I have worked with families navigating difficult custody disputes, parent-child contact problems, school-related concerns, and complex behavioral challenges. I have supported parents working to rebuild relationships with their children, collaborated with attorneys needing objective behavioral and educational insight, and consulted on cases where understanding child development was essential to making informed decisions.
At the heart of my work is a careful, evidence-informed review of behavioral, educational, and family information. I analyze school records, behavioral data, parent communication, developmental history, and collateral information to identify the factors influencing a child’s functioning. Rather than beginning with assumptions, I follow the evidence to better understand what may be contributing to a child’s behavior, relationships, and overall well-being.
I am also the author of Just Leave Me Alone!, a children’s book inspired by my parenting journey.
Through Transformative Life Coaching, LLC, I provide behavioral consultation, parent education, attorney consultation, educational advocacy, reunification support, expert witness services, and professional training. My goal is simple: to help families and professionals make child-centered decisions grounded in research, child development, and practical strategies.
This page is where I share evidence-based information about child behavior, parenting, high-conflict family dynamics, educational issues, and the parent-child relationship.
Whether you’re a parent looking for guidance, an attorney seeking consultation, an educator supporting children, or another professional working with families, I hope you’ll find practical tools and meaningful insight here.
