How “old” do you feel? There’s a reason why I like to call physical fitness the “REAL fountain of youth.” It’s because training training truly gives you the abilities to live life on your YOUR TERMS.
There have been numerous studies and scientific articles written on how muscle loss and weakness is positively correlated with death and a shorter life span. This means lifting weights correctly and with good programming can improve core strength, increase muscle mass/power/strength, increase your resiliency to injuries and improve your life expectancy.
When I was in physical therapy school, we learned that walking speed and weakness was directly correlated with how long an elderly person had left to live. Remember. exercise is the best medicine.
What are your experiences with this?
