Today we have the opportunity to celebrate a very special milestone—one year with Sunrise! 🌻💛

While today marks her official anniversary, she’s been part of our Sunrise family for much longer, and we’re incredibly grateful she chose to continue this journey with us after having her sweet perfect little boy! (Who turns 1 next week!!)

As an RBT, she shows up each day with compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping our clients grow. The impact she has on the children she works with, their families, and our team does not go unnoticed.

We believe it’s important to celebrate the people who make Sunrise what it is, and today was all about saying thank you. Congratulations on your first official year—we’re so thankful to have you as part of our team and can’t wait to see all that’s ahead. Happy Anniversary Ally!!!! ☀️💛

Learning is sweetest when it’s hands-on! 🍉💚

Today our kiddos became little chefs as they explored a watermelon from start to finish! Together we predicted what color would be inside, identified colors, used shape cookie cutters, and enjoyed tasting our creations.

While it looked like a fun summer activity, they were practicing so many important skills along the way:

• Following directions
• Taking turns and sharing materials
• Waiting patiently
• Communication and requesting
• Identifying colors and shapes
• Fine motor skills
• Joint attention and engagement
• Making predictions and problem-solving
• Social interaction with peers

Ms. Heather, our group teacher, always has the most fun and engaging ideas! 🍉

Our girlies Shelby T, Layla, & Heather are our winners for the door decorations contest! Congrats ladies!!

They are now happy campers with a DoorDash gift card and bragging rights 😉

Today our group teacher, Heather, read some very special books to our kiddos! 🫶🏻

Our friend over at Garden of Growth ABA Resources , Laura Sears, wrote and published a set of children’s books about embracing differences, creating friendships, and learning through the lens of a child with autism 📚🐝☀️

Thank you for sharing these books with us, they’re so special!
