Donald "Don" Peck, 98, of Zearing, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home, in Boone, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church with Pastor Staci Winborn officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing.

Everett Aaron Russell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and steadfast pillar of the Baxter community, passed peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the Accura Healthcare Center in Newton, surrounded by the warmth of his loving family. At 81 years old, Everett's journey, marked by dedication, care, and a deep connection to those around him, leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew him.

A celebration of Everett’s remarkable life will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Baxter Community Center, with a time of sharing at 5:00 p.m., followed by burial at Restland Cemetery in Baxter. Those wishing to honor Everett’s memory may direct contributions to the Baxter Community School Kids in Need lunch program, continuing his spirit of kindness and support.

Ambrose (Bruce) Harmon McGuire, a cherished brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many, was surrounded by family as he peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. He accomplished everything he was sent here to do and a whole lot more in his nearly 83 years – a job well done.
A celebration of life, including a brief program and social gathering, will be held in the sheep barn show ring at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 23rd at 4:00 P.M., with a time of sharing beginning at 4:30 P.M. Visitation will follow his service and will end at 8:00 P.M.
