We have another Oktoberfest in the books! It’s always fun to celebrate our German culture, eat the delicious foods, drink the b**r, listen to the music and be together. One special family came to join in on the fun, plus, we had another special drop in by two women dressed up so nicely from Moments Hospice to serve an Oktoberfest soup. Great times!

September is Healthy Aging Month, a time to celebrate the many ways we can support our well-being as we grow older.

At Northern Lakes Senior Living, resident Sunny recently enjoyed a beautiful morning walk along the community’s arboretum trails. Moments like this are a great reminder that staying active, spending time outdoors and finding joy in the everyday can all be part of healthy aging.

This year’s theme, “Curiosity Has No Age Limit,” reminds us that healthy aging is about more than physical health. It’s also about continuing to learn, connect, explore new interests and stay engaged at every age.
