Today, we were proud to support the Large Animal Auction at the Shiawassee County Fair by purchasing Shiawassee County Fair Attendant Myleigh’s sheep! 🐑🍀

Congratulations to Myleigh and all of this year’s 4-H exhibitors on their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments. Raising and showing an animal takes months of responsibility and commitment, and it was wonderful to see their hard work celebrated at the auction.

At Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan, Inc., supporting the communities we serve means investing in the young people who make them strong. We’re proud to support 4-H and the next generation of community leaders—making the best better! 💙🍀

In Memory of Mary “Delores” Cox (Zayac)
Swartz Creek, MI (formerly of Flint, MI)
February 16, 1932 - August 8, 2026

It is with a heavy heart that we share that our 94 year old mother, Mary “Delores” Cox, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026, following a short battle with Stage 4 liver and bone cancer.

Beginning in 1963, our parents began sponsoring children through PIME, choosing to support the same number of children as they had of their own. As our family grew, so did the number of children they sponsored. Ultimately, they supported 10 children in India at a time. Over the course of 63 years, their generosity and commitment helped hundreds of children and families.

This was an important part of our mother’s life and a reflection of the compassion, faith, and love she shared so freely with ...
