This week I had the privilege of experiencing one of the most peaceful evenings I’ve had in a long time.

Sophie is a gifted sound healer with a deep understanding of Qi Gong, and she has created a truly special experience that blends gentle movement with floating sound healing.

From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of calm. The beauty of the space, the thoughtful details, and the peaceful energy immediately invited me to slow down. We began with gentle Qi Gong movements that helped me feel grounded, centered, and energized.

Then we made our way to the pool, where we floated effortlessly on large rafts as the sound healing began. The melodies of birds, flowing water, gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, and other beautiful instruments surrounded us. For the next hour, I simply floated beneath the open sky, allowing the sounds to quiet my mind and carry me wherever I needed to go.

As the sun slowly set and the stars appeared overhead, I felt deeply connected to nature, to the present moment, and to myself. It was one of those rare experiences that reminds you how healing stillness can be.

If you’re looking for a way to nourish your mind, body, and spirit, I can’t recommend this experience enough.

I went to North Port, Florida to soak in the mineral springs, and I honestly wasn’t ready to leave.

There’s something deeply restorative about those waters. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and refreshed in body, mind, and spirit.

That evening, I watched the sun melt into the Gulf from Venice Beach. The sky was filled with colors only the Master Painter, G-d Almighty, could create. In that moment, all I felt was gratitude.

Walking through historic downtown Venice afterward, I couldn’t help but wonder why we’re still on Florida’s east coast. The west coast has such a peaceful, slow-paced charm. Everything feels quieter, gentler, and more present. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to breathe a little deeper and stay a little longer.
