💧 What is all that fluid after liposuction?

What you’re seeing here is tumescent fluid draining from the body during the early stages of recovery. Tumescent solution is used during liposuction to help numb the area, reduce bleeding, and make fat removal easier.

After surgery, some of that fluid can remain behind and may naturally drain through the small incision sites during the first stages of healing.

This is where proper post-op lymphatic drainage can be beneficial. 🙌🏽 By using gentle, controlled techniques, we help encourage fluid movement while supporting the body’s natural healing process.

✨ Less fluid buildup
💧 Supports healthy drainage
✨ Helps manage swelling
🙌🏽 Encourages lymphatic flow
❤️ Supports a more comfortable recovery

✨ Why am I pumping the lower abdominal area after surgery? ✨

One of the most important parts of post-op lymphatic drainage is activating the lymphatic system in order to move fluid. In this video, I’m gently pumping the lower abdominal area to stimulate the lymph nodes and encourage healthy lymphatic flow.

After surgery, swelling and fluid can build up because the lymphatic system has been disrupted. By activating these lymphatic pathways first, I’m creating a “roadmap” for excess fluid to travel, allowing the body to drain more efficiently.

💧 This technique helps:
• Reduce swelling and inflammation
• Encourage proper fluid drainage
• Improve circulation
• Decrease the risk of fibrosis (hard spots)
• Support faster, healthier healing

Lymphatic drainage isn’t about pushing hard, it’s about using the right technique in the right order to work with your body’s natural healing process.

✨ Arm Lipo Recovery:Why Lymphatic Drainage Matters✨

Seeing fluid drain after arm liposuction can look alarming, but it’s a normal part of the healing process. That fluid is made up of excess anesthetic solution, inflammatory fluid, and lymphatic fluid that your body is working to eliminate.

Early post-op lymphatic drainage massage helps encourage this fluid to move out of the tissues, which can reduce swelling, improve comfort, and support a smoother recovery. By helping decrease fluid buildup and inflammation, it may also reduce the risk of developing fibrosis (hard, scar-like tissue) and those uncomfortable hard spots that can form during healing.

Healing is a process, and proper aftercare is just as important as the surgery itself. 💙

✨ 3 Days Post-Op & Healing Starts Here ✨

At just 3 days post-op, your body is working hard to heal. One of the treatments used here to support your healing process is ultrasound therapy.

Ultrasound therapy uses gentle, high-frequency sound waves to pe*****te the tissue beneath the skin. This can help:
✔️ Improve circulation to the treated area
✔️ Encourage lymphatic drainage
✔️ Help soften hardened tissue as healing progresses
✔️ Reduce swelling and inflammation
✔️ Support your body’s natural healing process
✔️ Promote a smoother recovery when combined with proper post-op care

The treatment is not painful and is always performed carefully. Every patient heals differently, so treatments are customized based on your stage of recovery.

✨ Facial Lymphatic Drainage After Chin Lipo✨

Facial lymphatic drainage is a gentle, specialized technique designed to help your body heal after chin liposuction. By encouraging your lymphatic system to move excess fluid, this treatment can help:

✔️ Reduce swelling and inflammation
✔️ Minimize fluid buildup and fibrosis (hard tissue)
✔️ Improve circulation to support healing
✔️ Decrease tightness and discomfort
✔️ Help define your jawline and chin contours sooner
✔️ Support a smoother, more even recovery

Every recovery is different, but starting lymphatic massage at the appropriate time recommended by your surgeon can make a significant difference in your healing process and your final results.

✨ Drain Removal Process: Safe • Sterile • Gentle ✨

One of the most important milestones after surgery is having your drains removed. In this video, you’ll see the step-by-step process:

🩺 First, I thoroughly clean the area to help maintain a sterile environment.
🧵 Next, I carefully remove the securing stitch that holds the drain in place.
🤲 Finally, I gently and steadily remove the drain while keeping you as comfortable as possible.

Drain removal should always be done with patience, proper technique, and attention to cleanliness to help reduce discomfort and support the healing process.

Every patient’s recovery is different, and my goal is to make this experience as smooth, safe, and stress-free as possible. If you have questions about your drains or your post-op recovery, I’m here to help guide you every step of the way.

Your recovery deserves expert care. 💙

After liposuction, your body goes into healing mode. As part of that process, inflammation, swelling, and excess lymphatic fluid naturally build up in the treated areas. This can cause your legs to feel heavy, tight, sore, and swollen.

A post-op lymphatic drainage massage helps gently stimulate your lymphatic system, encouraging your body to move and eliminate that excess fluid more efficiently.

✨ Benefits of post-op lymphatic drainage:
• Helps reduce swelling and inflammation
• Encourages healthy fluid movement
• May decrease discomfort and tightness
• Helps improve circulation
• Can reduce the risk of fluid buildup (seromas)
• Supports a smoother, more comfortable recovery

✨ Ultrasound Therapy After a Tummy Tuck ✨

Ultrasound therapy is a powerful, non-invasive treatment that helps support your post-op recovery by:

✔️ Helping soften scar tissue and fibrosis
✔️ Improving circulation to promote healing
✔️ Reducing swelling and inflammation
✔️ Encouraging lymphatic drainage
✔️ Decreasing discomfort and tightness
✔️ Helping smooth and contour your results
✔️ Supporting a faster, more comfortable recovery

Every recovery journey is different, which is why treatments should always be customized to your stage of healing.
