Celebrating the Life of Amos Harper
Amos Harper was born on August 21, 1951, in Dennery, St. Lucia. He passed away on October 3, 2026.

Amos was a hardworking, caring, and generous man who found joy in helping others. From a young age, he had a giving heart. Throughout his life, he worked various jobs, and with what he earned, he would buy food, prepare meals, and make sure those around him had something to eat. He enjoyed bringing people together, and making sure others were cared for meant a great deal to him.

Amos was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed working with his hands. He had a natural ability to fix things and also loved to build, including building treehouses. He was always willing to use his skills and talents to help someone in need.

Amos also loved to cook, spend time with family and friends, and listen to good music. Reggae was his favorite, especially the music of Bob Marley. He enjoyed going out, having a good time, and being surrounded by people. Above all, Amos will be remembered for his generous spirit, his willingness to help others, and the care he showed to the people around him.

Amos leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Benedict Deterville and Marie Deterville; his brothers, John Deterville, Neil Deterville, Phil Deterville, and Phillipson Deterville; his sisters, Delita Deterville and Lorna Powell; along with his extended family and many dear friends.
