Cleaning the kitchen with a baby strapped to me… because motherhood. 🤍
The dishes still need done.
The laundry keeps coming.
Someone always needs a snack.
There’s always something to remember, clean, schedule, pack, wash, answer or put away.
And somehow, in the middle of all of it, these little people are still our everything.
I think two things can be true at once:
We can be completely overwhelmed by the endlessness of motherhood/parenthood…
and completely overwhelmed by how much we love them.
Maybe one of the hardest parts is how much of what moms do is invisible. The remembering. The anticipating. The carrying. The mental lists running in the background while we’re physically doing something else.
So, moms — I want to hear from you. 🤍
What is something you wish the people in your life noticed, understood, or acknowledged about what you carry as a mom?
Say it here. I have a feeling a lot of us are going to read the comments and realize:
Me too.
PS no shade to the Dads. You are out there too. Say your peace here too! ✌🏼
