Stories like Elaine's are a powerful reminder of what dedicated rehabilitation and patient determination can accomplish together. Congratulations to Elaine and everyone at Clepper Manor who made this possible!

When Elaine admitted to Clepper Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehab approximately 3 months ago with a diagnosis of benign neoplasm of the cranial nerves, she was unable to speak, sit unsupported, stand, or walk. Bilateral knee contractures and severe functional decline led to discussions regarding comfort care. Through skilled Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services, Elaine has made remarkable progress. She regained the ability to speak, read, write, complete self-care tasks, and ambulate independently throughout the facility with a front wheeled walker. She is now preparing to discharge from our facility and return to independent living – an incredible rehabilitation success story!! Their CNAs kicked off CNA Spooky Week with a Hawaiian Ghouls Day celebration — complete with festive costumes, a special lunch and afternoon mocktails. What a great way to show some well-deserved appreciation!
