The Board of Directors wishes to thank Troop 2027 for yet another successful Eagle Scout project at Monocacy Cemetery. These young ladies addressed many of the displaced lot corner markers that have been an issue for decades. With determination and strong leadership, they reset 23 markers in 4 hours!! What an achievement! Thank you, Troop 2027, for helping to make our property beautiful again ❤️

We wish to thank the 150+ guests who came out to participate on National Wreaths Across America Day to place wreaths on the graves of our Veterans. This day is about remembering the fallen, honoring those who serve and their families, and teaching the next generation the importance of freedom. We shall never forget.

With just two weeks to go before the deadline, I want to thank everyone for getting us so close to our goal of honoring the Veterans at Monocacy Cemetery on Wreaths Across America Day. We still need a few dozen to assure that every Veteran gets a wreath. Please share this post to help us across the finish line! Also, please register to participate in placing these wreaths on Saturday, December 13th!

Wreaths Across America ("WAA") coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies every December to "Remember, Honor, and Teach" about the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. Please check out this page to learn how you can help by sponsoring Veterans Remembrance Wreaths or by joining us on Decembe...

Monocacy Cemetery is so proud of Ishaan P and his scout volunteers for resetting 60 corner lot markers yesterday as his chosen Eagle Scout project. The grounds look noticeably better having these markers back in place. Congratulations, Ishaan, for a successful day, and THANK YOU!!!

Monocacy Cemetery 2025 Annual Appeal -

With spring greetings, I’d like to share some personal news with you. In January, Lynne and I welcomed Hailey, our first grandbaby, into our family. What a beautiful, healthy baby she is. Her parents Mollie and Sean adore her, and we’ve loved every minute getting to know this little person. When...

We wish to thank the 157 volunteers who participated in our National Wreaths Across America Day event by laying wreaths at the graves of our 501 Veterans. They braved the chilly day to REMEMBER those who sacrificed for our country, to HONOR those who are serving in our military branches, and to TEACH the next generation the value of freedom.

A collection box will be set up at the cemetery's entrance gate for the following items:

Set of Plates & Bowls for 4
Set of Flatware for 4
Sauce Pan & Frying Pan
Glasses and Mugs
Oven Safe Dish
Set of 3 Mixing Bowls
