This past weekend, I had the honor of sitting on a panel with creatives to talk about something that doesn’t always get enough attention — mental health behind the creativity.
As a therapist and owner of The Rose Center, PLLC , I see how often creatives pour from an empty cup. Passion can look productive on the outside while burnout quietly builds on the inside.
My message to creatives was simple:
You do not have to sacrifice your mental health to be successful.
Boundaries, rest, emotional awareness, and support are not obstacles to creativity — they are what sustain it.
Grateful for the opportunity to remind creatives that caring for their mental health is part of caring for their craft.
