🍕 Happy Cheese Pizza Day! 🍕

Cheese pizza is a great “safe” food to build from when encouraging kids to try new foods!

-Try adding a new topping like pepperoni or mushrooms.
- Try different brands of cheese pizza
-Explore a different pizza variation, like pizza rolls or cheesy bread.

Small changes can help kids feel comfortable exploring new foods while still keeping something familiar on their plate!

Encouraging your child to write a letter to a friend, family member, teacher, or someone who could use a little encouragement is a great way to practice important skills while making a difference in someone else’s day. 💌

From forming letters and writing words to working on pencil control, spacing, and fine motor skills, letter writing is a fun way to incorporate OT skills into everyday activities at home. And the best part? Your child gets to see how their words can encourage.

Happy National Toilet Paper Day!

Who knew one simple roll could inspire so much learning?

Empty toilet paper rolls are perfect for fun, low-cost activities that build important skills at home. Try balancing a roll on your head for balance and body awareness, threading pipe cleaners or straws through the tube to strengthen little hands, or turn two rolls into binoculars for an exciting scavenger hunt!

Sometimes the best therapy tools aren’t expensive—they’re already waiting in your recycling bin.
