Beaumont Emergency Hospital is the first stand-alone Emergency Room in Southeast Texas. We are your emergency center, serving in Beaumont, Texas on College @ I-10. We provide 24/7 emergency services. Our treatments include but are not limited to:

🌡️ WHEN DOES A FEVER BECOME AN EMERGENCY? A fever is often the body’s natural response to an infection, but sometimes it can be a sign that something more serious is going on.

Pay attention to the temperature — but also watch for other concerning symptoms, including:

🌡️ A fever of 103°F or higher in an adult
👶 Any fever of 100.4°F or higher in a baby under 3 months
😵 Confusion, extreme drowsiness, or difficulty waking
🫁 Difficulty breathing or chest pain
💧 Signs of severe dehydration
⚠️ Seizures, severe headache, stiff neck, or a concerning rash
