As a reminder, Purpose is closed for Memorial weekend to honor our fallen heroes and refine our processes. We will open again on Tuesday, May 26th, and next weekend will also begin our weekend hours of 10am to 4pm. Have a safe holiday!

Tomorrow is the big day! Our Grand Opening starts at 5:30 pm! Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point, and please spread the word to family and friends!

We are nearing our grand opening! Here are 6 tips for your visit if you need us:

1. Always bring your insurance card with you to a visit. We must have your updated insurance card each time you come in in order to do the visit. We do have self-pay rates available.

2. There are a few short forms to fill out and sign when you check in every visit. Because your child will hopefully only need us sporadically, we have to have updated information and signatures each visit. They shouldn't take long.

3. Make sure we know the name of your child's regular pediatrician, so that we can communicate with them if needed. There will be space for you to tell us on the forms, but it helps to communicate with your purpose provider as well.

4. Vaccine status does not determine if a child can be seen at Purpose. We try to help any child who is sick. However, if your child is unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, please let our providers know so we can adjust their work up/treatment if necessary.

5. If your child is younger than 18, has active insurance (we accept the vast majority commercial and medicaid plans), or you are willing to self pay, your child can be seen by our Purpose providers. If you are concerned that your child's issue is too severe to be seen at a minor care clinic, you can always call us at (409)225-5256 to check if we can handle it.

6. We are being housed inside the KidMed clinic for now, and they see patients during the day until 5pm. They have separate waiting rooms for well and sick, please use the sick waiting room unless otherwise specified by our staff.

We sincerely hope you won't need us, but we are so excited to help your kiddos if you do. We could also use some help spreading the word so that families can connect with us, so please share our page and website with family and friends!
