Female client, Age 65.
Very active professional that spends many hours per week at her computer.

The Client's chief complaints:
-Pain and limited range of motion at her left neck and shoulder,
-Tinnitus, (ear ringing) only in her left ear.

The client states that her ear ringing decreases in amplitude when she clenches her jaw.

When a client presents with this many issues only on one side of their body, I immediatly think of the lateral line on that side of their body.

The client's active range of motion reveals limited cervical rotation bilateraly.

The client's postural assessment revealed an elevated left ilium and
a low left shoulder.

Kinesiology muscle testing revealed and inhibited left Quadratus Lumborum, (QL, low back core muscle). When the client clenched her jaw or turned her head to the left, her left Quadratus Lumborum became strong. These results tell me that the muscles of the left jaw and neck are in a compromised relationship with the left QL muscle.

Further testing revealed that Her left temporalis muscle and her left Levator Scapulae were over working and her left Quadratus Lumborum was under active.

We released the overactive muscles and activated the QL one at a time. After repeating the release and activation a few times, we retested. All of the muscles were now functioning normally. The client reported that her neck pain and ear ringing had greatly improved.

The clients left the clinic very happy that her symptoms had improved but she has some homework to do and she needs to improve her posture and ergonomics at her computer.

RECEPTIONIST, Part-Time-Beaver, PA.

We are currently accepting resumes for a part-time receptionist position.
Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30AM-5:00 PM.
Previous Receptionist experience preferred. This would be a good opportunity for a semi-retired individual with previous experience seeking supplemental income.

Job responsibilities include greeting clients and visitors, answering calls, scheduling appointments via computer scheduling software, managing front desk flow, collecting payments, data entry and providing basic administrative support to keep our office running smoothly.

Physical responsibilities include being able to sit, stand, climb stairs and move between front desk and nearby office areas throughout the day. Frequent use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment. Occasional lifting or moving of small packages, office supplies, and files (up to 25 lbs.)

Hourly wage of $12/hour.
