- Click on the “Activity” button
- Click “Heritage Valley ConvenientCare”
- Click on the green “Get in Line” box underneath your location. From there, simply follow the instructions!

You will receive a text confirming your request to be placed in line, along with your estimated wait time.

Is your student ready for the start of a new school year? AHN wants to help all kids start the school year off right! By scheduling a well-child appointment with Heritage Valley Pediatrics, you can be sure that your child will receive a thorough check-up and is up-to-date with required vaccinations.

Heritage Valley Pediatrics offers physicians on-call 24 hours, every day; same-day sick appointments; prenatal and “Meet the Practice” visits. We also offer evening hours for acute illness issues at our Chippewa location.

To make an appointment with Heritage Valley Pediatrics, please call one of our three locations: Aliquippa/Hopewell (724-375-6161); Center Township (Monaca) (724-774-4070); or Chippewa/Beaver Falls (724-773-6842).

Sick visits for established patients ages six months and older may be self-scheduled through the Heritage Valley app. (If your child has a chronic illness or if you have concerns, please call the office so that we can schedule a longer appointment time.)

We are proud to share that our recent Foundation golf event, which brought together community members, sponsors, and supporters for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie, raised $99,087 to benefit AHN Beaver Hospital’s heart and cancer patients.

Former Cleveland Indians’ and St. Louis Cardinals’ star John “Tito” Francona first held the Tito Francona Golf Outing in 1989 in honor of his wife, Birdie, who was treated for cancer at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital. Years later, the tournament expanded to also support Cardiology patients. Tito was one of those patients and his legacy lives on in the John “Tito” Francona Heart & Vascular Center at AHN Beaver Hospital. Their son, Terry Francona, General Manager of the Cincinnati Reds, continues to sponsor and support this memorial golf event.

The John “Tito” Francona Heart & Vascular Center in Beaver features leading cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons, cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as nurses and technicians who are highly trained to perform cardiac and vascular testing and procedures. We are excited to announce new leadership at AHN Beaver Hospital – Heritage Valley and AHN Sewickley Hospital – Heritage Valley! Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Duke Rupert, the new President of both hospitals.

We also welcome Keith Lorenz as the Chief Operating Officer and Joshua Miller as the Chief Financial Officer for both facilities. Their expertise will be invaluable as we integrate the former Heritage Valley Health System into AHN.

This transition follows the planned retirement of longtime Heritage Valley President and CEO, Norm Mitry, at the end of the year, after more than three decades of exceptional service and leadership. We thank Norm for his outstanding contributions and wish him the very best!

Now a subsidiary of Allegheny Health Network, NorthWest EMS is one of Allegheny County’s largest Emergency Medical Service providers, offering emergency medical care and ambulance transport.

NorthWest EMS is composed of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs), Paramedics, Prehospital RNs (PHRNs) and support staff. We have licensed Advanced Life Support ambulances, Advanced Life Support response vehicles and a utility support vehicle. In addition to transporting sick or injured patients and providing treatment to those in need, NorthWest EMS is also responsible for providing medical coverage for special events throughout the communities we serve.

A thoughtful gift can make a lasting impression on a new family. Each year, Alex Winger, owner of 3 Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe locations, and his employees select a local charity to support. For 2026, they chose to benefit AHN Beaver Hospital’s Maternal Child Health Services with a special gift for newborns and their families. Alex spent considerable time researching baby blankets, and found one that was highly rated, super soft, and approved by AHN Beaver Hospital Maternal Child Health staff to ensure it met the highest safety standards.

We’re grateful to Alex for his generosity and commitment to helping welcome our newest little patients with comfort, care, kindness ... and a favorite “blankie” for years to come!

Following last week's exciting affiliation, AHN leadership was on hand this week to personally connect and celebrate with our team members at employee celebration events. They brought delicious cookies from Kretchmar's Bakery, Bruster's Real Ice Cream and handed out "Stronger Together" t-shirts! We're very excited for this new chapter and are excited to be part of the AHN Family!
