Willie Edison Meade Sr. was a kind gentle husband, father, brother, and friend who lived in Beaver, Ohio. He went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2026. He was born August 24, 1944 to the late Willie Meade and Gracie Tackett.-Meade. Willie married Jane Waters on August 30, 1980, who survives. Also surviving are daughters Gracie (Matthew) Hamm Sr. of Marion, Ohio, Linda (Robert) Large Sr. of Caledonia, Ohio, Sherri Banks of Marion, Ohio, and Carolyn Arble of Marion, Ohio, sons Willie Meade Jr. of Beaver, Ohio, Conrad Meade of Beaver, Ohio, and Chris Meade of Beaver, Ohio, sisters Rissie Tackett of Beaver, Ohio, Darlene (Ken) Tackett of Beaver, Ohio, and Della (Bob) Cummings of Cleveland, Ohio, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Willie worked many trades, mainly as a logger most of his life. He loved fishing, hunting, yard sales, and doing yard work with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Linda Mitchell, Geneva Dalton, Sue Price, and Sarah McDavid, and brothers Farish Meade, James Meade, and Rodney Meade.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday June 6, 2026 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Harry Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Run Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Delbert Stanley Harris, age 86, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died Wednesday May 27, 2026 at his residence. He was born December 17, 1939 in Beaver, Ohio, a son of the late Ernest Harris and Della Mae Kuhn Harris. He was preceded in death by first wife, Edith Mae Lett Harris on October 10, 2022 and his second wife, Linda Lou Robberts Harris. Surviving are his children, David Harris of Chillicothe, Ohio, Wornie Lee Harris of Beaver, Ohio, Franklin Dewayne Harris of Piketon, Ohio, Geraldine “Gerri” Harris Biernat of Chillicothe, Ohio, Timmy Glynn (Billie Jo) Harris of Chillicothe, Ohio, Tammy Lynn Harris Day of Chillicothe, Ohio, John (Candy) Harris of Chillicothe, Ohio, Lora Lou Harris of Florida, and Gloria Kay Harris of Chillicothe, Ohio, a host of grandchildren, including Brittany Elizabeth Moyer and Devan James Viglione, and numerous great-grandchildren, including Paisleigh Jayde “Bright Eyes” Moyer, Lukas Blake “Pumpkin Head” Moyer, Dezmond Jayce Viglione, Miles Stanley Viglione, and Lily Ann Viglione. In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by three daughters, Rita Mae Payne, Cheryl Ann Guhl, and Geneva Harris, six brothers, Arnold, Waynard, Carl, Harley, Lloyd, and Alfred Harris, and four sisters, Margaret Reisinger, Geraldine Davis, Coralee Herman, and Dolly Cotton.
Delbert loved being outdoors and was an avid c**n hunter.

Earlene Knisley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister has passed away May 24, 2026 at the age of 75, at Chillicothe Hospital. She was born June 9, 1950 in Collin, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Eulabell Short, and was also preceded in death by her husband Dallas Knisley, brother Charles Akins, grandchildren Michael and Mykaila Lowman and Issac Knisley, and her dog Precious, AKA Rosko.
Earlene is survived by her two children, Melissa (Mike) Lowman and Bryan Knisley, sister Linda (Harold) Lowman, sister-in-law Sharon Akins, grandchildren Stephanie Keesee, Steven Lowman, Bryan (Amanda), Bradley, Jerimiah, Daniel, and Ben Knisley, and Gracie, great-grandchildren Kadin, Allison, Zander, Jonny, Kaylynn, Carlie, Hunter, Ava, Paiton, Conner, Rider, Ryker, Dominic, and Natele, and many nieces and nephew, each of whom will forever treasure the memories and the loving legacy she leaves behind.
Earlene found joy in spending time with her family, loved doing crafts, playing bingo with her friends, shopping, and doing her nails!

William Brown Schneider “Bill”, 91, of Beaver, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Bill was born December 22, 1934 in Dearborn, Michigan, a son of the late William Carlisle and Nelle Loraine (Brown) Schneider. He graduated from Central High School in Columbus and was employed by the Otis Elevator Co. for over 30 years. Bill was a charter member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club. a volunteer officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, an honorary member of the Beaver VFW Post #9942, and a charter member of the Beaver Valley Historical Society. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dick Schneider, and sister Gloria Corman He is survived by his loving daughter Lori (Jim) Feddern, and son Wade (Cherri) Schneider, grandchildren Julie (Nick) Hazlett, Lydia (Brandon) Schilling, Clay (Katie Miller) Schneider, and Kelsie (Ben) Cook, great-grandchildren, Olive and Eli Hazlett and Scott Cook, sister Nancy (Ron) McClure, sister-in-law Phyllis Schneider, brother-in-law, Dick Corman, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, special companion Sue Bellachicco, and friends at Skyline Family Restaurant in Minford.
An honorary remembrance service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 30, 2026 by the Red Knights Motorcycle Club at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Rickey Allen “Cowboy” Robinson, age 63, passed away peacefully at Adena Hospital, May 17, 2026. He was born September 10, 1962 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard & Vesta Robinson, his brother Larry Joe, and his infant daughter Vanessa Lynn. He is survived by his daughter Tara (Israel) Brady of Otway, his sons Cory (Erin) Austin of Beaver and John (Heather) Austin of Piketon, his eight wonderful grandkids, Kilan, Bella, Emmie, C**t, Coen, Casen, Carter, and Cori, three brothers, three sisters, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
Rick loved riding his horse named “Princess” until her death in November. He was a member of the Local #185 Union of West Virginia and spent forty plus years enjoying and being a roofer. He will be greatly missed by the ones who truly loved him.
Graveside services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday May 22, 2026 in the Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville, Ohio, with Pastor Aaron Overly officiating. Visiting hours will be held 10-11:00 A.M. Friday May 22, 2026 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.

Jean Ann (Poe) Street was welcomed home into the arms of her mother and heavenly Father. Jean has long awaited being reunited with her beloved family that has gone on before her. But leaves behind quite a legacy of loved ones.
Her husband of 50 years John Street. Her first born and only son Ben Street. Her daughters Cassandra (Wes) Smith, Olivia Street, Jerusha "Juice" (David) Edgell, Rhoda Street, and adopted daughter Courtney (Lee) Donahue.
Grand-children James Street, Reagan Street, Ana Smith, Mitchell Smith, Yzabelle Smith, Rownyn Smith, Alara Edgell, Michelle Street, Jeanette Street and Harley Donahue.
Great-Grand-children Isaac Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Kaylee Johnson.
Her brother Billy (Dara) Poe. And sister Cherri Dusek.
Jean was proceeded in death by her mother and father. Rhoda Adams and Norman Poe. Her younger sister Terri Bracken. Her best friend and partner in crime Pamela Littrel. And many beloved Aunts and Uncles.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday May 9, 2026 at the Beaver Fire Department Station in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Ed Johnson officiating. Dinner and fellowship time with follow at the conclusion of services. Visiting hours will be held from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the fire house prior to services.

Bonnie Lou Rowland, age 79, of Piketon, Ohio, died Monday April 13, 2026 at the Pavilion in Piketon, Ohio. She was born September 7, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late David Noel and Dollie Southworth Noel. Surviving are her grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Moore of McArthur, Ohio, Heather Brokaw, Sarah Bailey, and Bryce Bailey, one brother, Leon (Cheryl) Noel of Waverly, Ohio, one sister, Donna (Bruce) Warren of Portland, Indiana, five nieces and nephews, Cindy Lundy, Donnie (Leslie) Lundy, Tara (Brian) Harrington, Scott (Heather) Noel, and Kim (Ken) Fowler, and a lifelong special friend, Yvonne Myers. In addition, to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Slone and Anita Bailey.
Bonnie attended the Madison Freewill Baptist Church. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1964. Bonnie had a lively and charismatic personality, and she was an amazing, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Joan Swinning, age 92, of Waverly, Ohio, died Friday April 3, 2026 at Traditions at Bristol Village in Waverly, Ohio. She was born May 19, 1933 in Lucasville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Kemper and Mildred Wells Kemper. She was united in marriage August 10, 1950 to her husband, Warren G. Swinning, who preceded her in death December 3, 1973. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Swinning. Surviving are three sons, Chuck (Melissa) Swinning of Waverly, Ohio, Todd (Loretta) Swinning of Waverly, Ohio, and Joey J. (Karea) Swinning of Waverly, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Tracy, Mark, Jennifer, Brandi, Bradley, Tiffany, Hilary, and Seth, several step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Bill Kemper of Springfield, Ohio, two sisters-in-law, Betty Kemper and Marilyn Kemper, numerous nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend, Ella Pierce. In addition to her parents, husband, and son, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Mack Kemper, Don Kemper, and Bob Kemper, one sister, Sue D**e Bales, and one sister-in-law, Cathy Kemper.
Joan loved the Lord and was baptized in 2025. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and adored her family to no end. She had a great appreciation for everything in and around her, and it was very visible when you were in her presence. In her adult life, alongside her husband, she was owner, operator, and bookkeeper of the SOHIO fuel station in Waverly. She and her family also operated a poultry, egg, and dairy farm. In addition, she also worked at Casey’s Nursing Home for 25 years. In all that she accomplished, one of her proudest achievements was her time spent donating countless hours to the Pike County Hospital, where she fulfilled numerous jobs and carried out a host of duties.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday April 8, 2026 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio, with Randy Kemper officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery on Hay Hollow Rd. Visiting time will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jane Ann Lambert, age 68, of Beaver, Ohio, died Tuesday March 31, 2026 at the Hopewell Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born January 16, 1958 White Cross Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Milburn Roberts and Sylvia Blair Roberts. She was united in marriage July 8, 1979 to her husband, Cavin Lambert Sr., who preceded her in death May 1, 2014. She is survived by one daughter, Katrina (Tom Barnhart) Lambert of Chillicothe, Ohio, one son, Cavin (Patti Ballew) Lambert Jr. of Piketon, Ohio, six grandchildren, Cavin Lambert III, Kaden Lambert, Kaylor Bunch, Rayleigh Shipley, Lilian Barnhart, and Charlotte Barnhart, one brother, Charles Roberts, one brother-in-law, Joe Schmitzer, and numerous nieces and nephews. George Edward Leist Jr., age 84, of Beaver, Ohio, died Friday March 27, 2026 at Traditions at Bristol Village.
Funeral services will be 4:30 P.M. Monday March 30, 2026 at the Owl Creek Lighthouse Church located at 1442 Germany Rd., Lucasville, Ohio 45648 with Pastor Rodney Bapst officiating. Burial will follow in the Slavens Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service Monday at the church.
