Several U.S. health systems are warning patients about a phishing scam using fake MyChart emails.

These messages may claim you've won a "MyChart Medicare Kit," "Senior Health Package," or other free gifts or rewards. The goal is to trick you into sharing your MyChart login, Medicare information, or financial details.

🛑 Protect yourself:
• Don't click links in unexpected emails or texts.
• Don't reply or click "unsubscribe."
• Verify the sender's email address before taking any action.
• Never enter your MyChart login through a link in an email—go directly to your healthcare provider's website or app.
• If you clicked a suspicious link or entered your information, change your MyChart password immediately and contact your provider's MyChart support team.

Scammers are taking advantage of the trusted MyChart name—not a security issue with MyChart itself. Stay alert, and when in doubt, contact your healthcare provider using a verified phone number or website.
