Community is a core value of mine and at a young age my community was dance. It brings me great joy to connect with my childhood dance studio, the Studio of Performing Arts in Grover Beach, Ca. Honoring the life of our dear friend, Samantha Ford (center red❤️) who’s legacy is one of courage and dance.
3 years prior to this picture taken she was diagnosed with cancer in the bone of her leg and had to amputate. Her prosthetic leg never slowed her down. Dance was an outlet for her to express herself. Sam passed away in 2010. We are holding the annual Remembering Sam Ford fundraising event to raise funds in Sam’s name, given to support childhood cancer research and dance scholarships. Come gather with us via Zoom 11/7 3-5pm, for dance & music!
