MEF2C Awareness Day

MEF2C-Related Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder classified as a severe form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, first identified in 2010. Due to its recent recognition, awareness remains limited, leading to inadequate funding, research, and resources for individuals diagnosed with this condition.

Today, we observe MEF2C Awareness Day. I encourage you to view a video created by the mother of a child with this diagnosis, as it provides valuable insights into MEF2C-related disorders.
