🌟 Community Member Spotlight: Patsy
As a community member of Autumn Trace, I wanted to take a moment to share my experience and the joy I've found here.
My name is Patsy Gaines, and I've been part of the Autumn Trace family for a year and a half.
Making the decision to move yourself or a loved one to a new home isn't easy. There can be uncertainty, sadness, and many emotions. But at Autumn Trace, I've found a place where people truly care, and where every day brings new opportunities to laugh, connect, and make memories.
Our activities are thoughtfully planned for our community, and family members often tell us how happy they are to see the joy in their loved ones. It’s amazing how something so simple can bring so much happiness.
Our calendar is always full. We enjoy Bible Study on Tuesdays, church services on Sunday mornings, and Bingo on Tuesday afternoons. We even have opportunities to volunteer in the community. We also created a beautiful Memory Garden beneath the flag as a special place to reflect and remember.
There are plenty of other activities to enjoy, including weekly visits to the beauty shop, monthly manicures, structured exercise, walks around the community, and relaxing on the porch—what I like to call "the hens clucking together."
One of the first things you'll notice when you walk through the doors at Autumn Trace is that you'll hear more hellos than tears. Of course, we all have difficult days, but they're softened by friendship, kindness, and laughter. While we each carry cherished memories from the past, we're also creating new ones every day.
I am grateful to call Autumn Trace home.
